We’ve developed partnerships with a number of UK universities, developing our very own Team Kenya societies at Newcastle, Northumbria and Sussex University.
Getting involved with Team Kenya during your time at university allows you to support a charity where your volunteering and fundraising efforts will make a real difference.
By volunteering with Team Kenya, students develop personal and professional skills and can boost their employability. This has proven to be greatly successful for many students at Newcastle University, who have been able to secure work as a direct result of their experiences with Team Kenya.

Adventure And Challenges
Team Kenya organise overseas adventures and UK challenge events. Whether you fancy climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or feeding giraffes in Kenya, a Team Kenya Adventure can be a life changing experience. Our Africa adventures for student groups can also involve a visit to our projects in Ndhiwa, so you can see for yourself how your fundraising is making an impact.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a wonderful thing to do, not just for others, but for yourself as well. Not only does it help Team Kenya educate girls and empower women in Kenya, it’s also good for you in many ways. Volunteering has a proven benefit to your physical and mental wellbeing, with great social and professional opportunities offered through volunteering with us. It can help you gain valuable experience, proven to help students be successful in job applications.
